State Update Jerry/Frank/Sherman
Sherman reports that our "West Coast Truancy Conference" scheduled for October 12th and 13th is shaping up.
The speakers are being scheduled and there will not be any charge for their services. We will include an article in the next Connection with info.Membership No report
Review of the Phil Kauble Legal Forum All
The overall feeling about the forum was good. Next time we will be sure to have an evaluation form for attendees to fill out before they leave. Cami has offered to develop a form for our use in the future. The suggestion was made that if she e-mails a copy to Frank, he could then forward it on to today's participants.
Other
LACOE reports that the suspension/expulsion codes reference guide is being re-printed due to some previous errors. It should be out by April.
We received a great deal of good feedback today from the Santa Barbara/Ventura County folks regarding this legal forum. Fred will send out some interest inventories to his local personnel to see what they might be interested in the future.
